(Please note:- there are TWO major competitions therefore TWO sets of terms & conditions below)

 

 

ADVENTURE SHOW SUPER DRAW - ENTER TO WIN A GAME OF CHANCE COMPETITION - TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.

2.Entry is open to any person residing in NSW who is aged 16 years and over. Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.

3.Promotional Period - The promotion commences at 9am (AEST) on 13th September 2019 and closes at 04:00pm (AEST) on 10 November 2019 ("Promotional Period").

4.It is free to enter the promotion however to become an “Eligible Entrant”, you must, within the Promotional Period, have purchased a registered ticket “Eligible Product Purchase” for the 2019 Southern Highlands Outdoor Recreation & Adventure Show, that was either pre-purchased on-line at www.adventureshow.com.au or enter by registering electronically at the event.

5.Multiple entries permitted per Eligible Product Purchase. Entrants can purchase tickets for other guests, but the name of the purchaser will be on the entry.Additional competition entries may be entrants who buy their tickets on-line and/or attend the event on the Friday and/or or buy their ticket using a specifically advertised promotional code.

6.All entrants must retain their original receipts, documents or tags to validate proof of purchase during the promotional period. Such evidence must, on request by the Promoter, be provided to the reasonable satisfaction of the Promoter, to demonstrate that the entrant has complied with these Terms and Conditions. Any entrant found to be sharing any receipt or other proof to demonstrate Proof of Purchase with any other entrant, whether or not related in any way, will have all entries invalidated and will not be able to claim a prize. If such an entrant is awarded a prize and then found to have breached this clause, the entrant must immediately return any awarded prize to the Promoter. The Promoter has sole discretion to determine if this clause has been breached by any entrant. The Promoter reserves the right to request whatever documentation it deems necessary to confirm if the entrant has breached this clause. An entrant must provide any requested documentation to the Promoter upon request. The Promoter may conduct an immediate redraw if the first drawn entrant is unable to satisfy this clause

7.All Eligible Entries will be entered into the prize draw. No responsibility will be taken for entries not completed properly.

8.The use of any automated entry software or any mechanical, electronic or other means that allows an Entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that Entrant invalid.

9.A Winner will be selected at random by a computer program at 5:00pm AEST on 10 November 2019 at Moss Vale Showground, 1 Robertson Road, Moss Vale NSW 2577, Australia. This process will be overseen and scrutinized by an independent person. The Winner be will be given the chance to participate in the Major Prize Draw.

10.The Winner will be notified by phone and by email by 5:00pm AEST on 12 November 2019 and once contacted, with their permission, their name will be published on Outdoor Recreation & Adventure Show facebook site https://www.facebook.com/OutdoorRecAdventureShow/?ref=hll

11.The Major Prize Draw will be conducted at 12 noon on Monday 18 November 2019 at Destination Southern Highlands at 62-70 Main Street, Mittagong, or at different time and location agreed with the Winner.

12.The Winner will be given the opportunity to select one envelope from a raffle barrel containing 250 identical envelopes.Each envelope will contain one prize certificates: 247 certificates will be for $1,000 cash (247 in 250 chances of winning). One certificate will be for $100,000 (1 in 250 chance of winning). One Certificate will be for an ‘Ambiente’ model Ford Everest 4WD (colour is Aluminium) valued at $56,290 (1 in 250 chance of winning). One certificate will be for a ‘Frontier’ model Cub Camper valued at $37,490 (1 in 250 chance of winning).

13.If the Winner selects the $1,000 cash prize, it will be paid immediately by EFT.Any of the three Major Prizes will be able to be collected by the prize winner within 30-days of the draw,by bank transfer to their nominated account in the case of the $100,000 prize, at Harrigan Ford’s premises in Moss Vale NSW (162 Argyle Street) in the case of the Ford Everest and at Cub Campers office in North Rocks NSW (23 Loyalty Road) in the case of the Frontier Camper. The total prize pool is valued at up to $100,000.

14.For any cash prizes your name on your entry must be that of an eligible bank account. Winning entries with only a family name or reference to a family as the entrant cannot be cashed by banks. If the winner of any prize is under 18 years, the prize may be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian on behalf of the winner, at the discretion of the Promoter.

15.If the Winner wins either of the motor vehicles and is under the age of 18, they must hold a current Australian driver’s licence as at the draw date. If a drawn winner under the age of 18 does not hold such a licence, the motor vehicles will be registered in the name of the winner's nominated parent or adult guardian on behalf of the winner. The Promoter and sponsor take no responsibility for petrol, comprehensive insurance, health, transport, body, paint or mechanical damage, or any other costs or damages, from date of delivery. The winner will be responsible for any expenses incurred in getting to and from an Australian capital city and for collecting the vehicle within 30 days of the draw.The prize value includes on-road costs. In WA, winners will be responsible for arranging and paying for an immobiliser to be fitted, as required by WA Road Traffic regulations.

16.The prizes must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. Prize values are GST inclusive and are the recommended retail value as provided by the prize donors and are correct at time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.

17.The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any aspect of the condition, quality, performance or maintenance relating to the prizes after the date and time of prize collection by the winners.The Prizes, or any part thereof, must be accepted as awarded and are non-negotiable, non-transferable to another person and non-convertible to cash or credit. The Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer.

18.Entrants can only enter in their own name and use their own email address.

19.The Promoter and the prize donors reserve the right to request that the winners provide proof of identity and/or proof of entry validity. Proof of identification and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to validate and check the authenticity of any prize claim or entry before awarding the prize.In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the "Authorized Account Holder" of the email address submitted at time of entry. Authorized Account Holder means the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. The Promoter may ask any entrant or potential winner to provide Promoter with proof that such party is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the entry. All reasonable steps to notify the winner will be taken by the Promoter.

20.In an event that Prize Winner cannot be contacted within 3 months of initial notification, the prize will be forfeited, and a re-draw will be conducted at the Promoters office at 369 Range Road Mittagong NSW at 11am on 17 February 2020.This re-draw will also be scrutinized by an independent person. Once the new winner is contacted, with their permission, their name will be published on Outdoor Recreation & Adventure Show facebook site https://www.facebook.com/OutdoorRecAdventureShow/?ref=hl

21.This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Facebook membership and the use of Facebook generally are subject to the Facebook prevailing terms and conditions of use available at www.facebook.com . Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Entrants are solely responsible and liable for the content of their entries and any other information they transmit to other internet users via Facebook. To the extent permitted by law, each entrant agrees to indemnify, defend and forever hold harmless, Facebook and its associated agencies and companies, against any and all losses, actions, claims, costs, expenses and damages (of any nature) which may be incurred by an entrant in respect of the entrant’s participation in the promotion. Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter and not to Facebook.

22.The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspects of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters, and no correspondence will be entered.

23.The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

24.The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.

25.The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

26.It is a condition of entry into the Promotion that the winner consents to the publication of their name and city of origin in any advertisements or articles relating to the Promotion or the Prize and participates in any media releases, which may include photographs or videos of the winner by the Promoter.

27.All entries become the property of The Promoter. Eligible Entrants consent to the use and disclosure of their information for the purposes of this competition by The Promoter and its agents associated with this competition. Eligible persons agree that by submitting an entry, you agree that the Promoter and the prize donors may use your email address to send information and promotions concerning third party products and services and also supply your contact information and questionnaire responses, so that they may use them to contact you by phone, email, SMS or MMS to send offers and promote services based on your preferences. If entrants do not consent to their details being used for future marketing purposes, the entrant should contact The Promoter on their details set out below. Any request to update, modify or delete the entrant’s details should be directed to The Promoter. The Promoter’s treatment and storage of personal information will be handled in accordance with all applicable laws in Australia. 28.If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written directions given by the various Lottery Departments, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.

29.In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders it's determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to State Regulation.

Six prize winners will be selected using a computer generated random number (i.e. ticket number) selection program in the following order:-
